Just returned from a trip to Panama to check it out as a possible retirement destination. I had a wonderful time but managed to pick up some sort of intestinal bug that appeared to like my lower intestines. I'm just guessing, because I don't actually know the point when I picked up a bug, but I everything was fine until I bought milk at a local grocery store to go in my morning coffee. I suppose I could've picked it up anywhere along the line but I'm blaming it on that. Anyway, I came home to my trusty herbs, threw together a large mug of hot tea with Goldenseal, Ginger, Elecampane and a little Chamomile and Peppermint for flavor. One large mug remedied about 85% of the problem but I'm going to down one more mug just to ward off any remnants.
One advantage of working in hospice is that I get to play with all the therapy dogs. This is Asher, a Corgi.
