Today, I made batches of my "Happy Feet" Shea Butter Crème. It's a great combination of soothers and healers, from the crème base to the essential oils. I use Shea Butter, Olive Oil and Jojoba as the base and then incorporate essential oils of Lavender, Peppermint and Tea Tree. It smells divine and then, of course, it has the added benefit of the antifungal Tea Tree and the analgesic Peppermint. I keep a jar handy most of the time and put some on my heals (when I remember). You'd think someone who makes all kinds of skin cremes would be good about using them, but I'm not. Most of the time, I forget but when I do remember, Happy Feet is my go-to product for my dry heels. I also sometimes make this in a thicker butter but the lightness of the butter crème is really my favorite.
One advantage of working in hospice is that I get to play with all the therapy dogs. This is Asher, a Corgi.
