![]() The tincture I made last week was fantastic for clearing the deep respiratory issues I had going on but my nose seemed to persist in irritating my throat. Today, I read that there are people (clearly I'm one of them) that can have lingering issues every time they have a cold, allergies or the flu. The problem ends up causing an infection in the nasal cavities that goes on long after the initial cold or whatever it is has finished its run. So today, I made a new 2oz tincture with 1/2 oz glycerin, 1 and 1/2oz water; 1 teaspoon each of Echinacea, Eucalyptus leaves, Peppermint, Spearmint, Gingko, Bupleurum, Codonopsis, Reishi mushroom and Cinnamon; plus 1/2 teaspoon of Goldenseal, Oregano and Ginger. I've only had two dropper's worth but it seems to already be making a difference. I feel it in my sinuses almost instantaneously and my nose opens up within about a minute. Now let's see if it gets rid of any infection that might be causing the nasal drip and scratchy cough. By the way, I've also discovered that these tinctures aren't bad in my ,coffee but I just feel like the less diluted, the better, so I prefer to put a dropperful on my tongue 3-4 times a day instead.
