Because I was writing an article for Massage Magazine about herb-infused oils and how to make them, I decided I'd better make the batch I was recommending to be sure it turned out the way I thought it would. Sure enough, I ended up tweaking the recipe a bit but it's soft and lovely. I used herbs for muscle relaxation and skin nourishment and added essential oils for mental/emotional relaxation. I ended up with an 8-oz pump that I'll probably give away because I don't work with oils on a regular basis but it's lovely. I used Grapeseed and Apricot oils with Jojoba as the base, infused them with Comfrey leaf, Arnica flowers and Calendula flowers and then added Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Rose Otto (Rosa damascene) for aroma. Nice, light consistency and great scent.
One advantage of working in hospice is that I get to play with all the therapy dogs. This is Asher, a Corgi.
