It never fails that when I travel I get constipated. I have no idea why but it happens 100% of the time. This time, however, I created an herbal tea to counteract the problem. This recipe yielded 5 tea bags. 2 tablespoons of Basil Leaf, 3 tablespoons of Spearmint Leaf, 1 tablespoon each of Licorice Root and Slippery Elm Bark and 1/2 tablespoon each of crused Psyllium and Flax seeds. Then I put a portion of a chopped up cinnamon stick into each bag.
