Think making essential oil bath fizzies is simple? Well, okay right - it should be. But I have a way of complicating things. Although I'd been told to use a silicone mold, I couldn't find one and didn't want to wait to order one. So, in my little pea brain, I figured a teflon mini-muffin pan would work. Nothing is supposed to stick to teflon, right? Well, my first batch turned out beautifully, smelled wonderful and hardended smoothly. However, there wasn't anything I could do to get those things out of the muffin pan. I even tried remelting and repouring once I got the silicone molds I ordered. To no avail. I had to toss the batch. Much as I hate doing that, I guess that's the way you learn and i won't repeat those mistakes.
One advantage of working in hospice is that I get to play with all the therapy dogs. This is Asher, a Corgi.
