I must say I have the strangest back issues. They crop up at odd moments and seem to last for months. I never quite figure out what I've done or exactly what fixed the problem. Now I've had a pain that hurts right up against my spine at the very bottom of the lumbars. But here's the weird part: it aches across the buttocks (yes, I know - sounds like sciatic) and will sometimes "catch" when I'm walking so that I have to stop for a second. I can also sometimes feel it underneath the fleshy part of the buttocks. So, is that muscle or nerve? I decided to tackle both and made myself a bottle of half Grapeseed/ half Jojoba and put Birch and German Chamomile. I notice an almost immediate difference in the pain and/or ache but the issue never quite goes away. Hmmm. Guess I'll keep at it for awhile.
One advantage of working in hospice is that I get to play with all the therapy dogs. This is Asher, a Corgi.
